Educate A Women and You Educate a Family
Expanded Horizons is an educational program designed to meet the needs of women through trained volunteer tutors, paid instructors, and ancillary support services. The program includes transportation assistance, children’s services, and life skills small groups. A Family Literacy Advocate provides case management to assist with removing barriers to reaching goals. Participants have access through cross referrals to the comprehensive, wrap around services of the Women’s Center.
Individualized Instruction is offered in the morning, afternoon, and evening based on the availability of tutors and the needs of enrolled students.
