From our Bosom Buddies program offering support and education to breast cancer survivors, to Women Renewed providing guidance and training to prepare women re-entering the workforce after incarceration, we strive to help you achieve your dreams.

Support For Women And Their Families
The Bosom Buddies program, at the Women’s Center of Jacksonville, is dedicated to improving the lives of women affected by breast cancer. Compassionately and respectfully, we educate, support and advocate so that women are empowered to make informed decisions concerning their health. The Bosom Buddies program shares the heart to heart experiences of breast cancer. The counseling program cooperates and collaborates with community members and agencies to support, educate, and assist women and their families with mental health issues.
We offer a variety of counseling options including individual counseling, group therapy, and counseling for sexual assault. All services require an initial screening at no charge. Women who do not qualify for counseling services through our program will be referred to an appropriate agency within the community.
The Rape Recovery Team (RRT) responds quickly and compassionately to survivors of sexual violence and their loved ones, whether or not they have chosen to report the crime to police.
Crisis Intervention and Sexual Assault Forensic Exams are available, free of charge, to survivors of sexual violence ages 18 and older who live in Duval, Nassau, and Baker Counties.
